Again, applying the patch gives the error messages:

peter@eros:~/openchrome/src$ patch -p0 < vbeEDID.patch
patching file src/via_driver.c

Hunk #2 FAILED at 1620.
2 out of 2 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file src/via_driver.c.rej
patching file src/via_dri.c
Hunk #1 FAILED at 267.
1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file src/via_dri.c.rej

The files via_dri.c and via_driver.c did not change.
