Hello,
I had exactly the same problem and just found a solution for me:

I tried to install libgl1-mesa-glx (which automatically removed libl1
-mesa-swx11), restarted X and now everything works fine again. I don't
know why, but it works.

Perhaps anyone of you could explain what happened?
