Message #43288
[Bug 500558] [NEW] xubuntu karmic lacks ability to ignore touchoad taps
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
Binary package hint: xfree86-driver-synaptics
The facility to prevent touchpad taps makes O/S unusable at times as all
kinds of things occur: windows moving, text shifting all over, even
shutting down due to my aged appendages. This renders ths O/S unusable.
Gnome/Ubuntu has such ability. Similar problem in Debian, thus no
longer use Debian on this Lenovo laptop Y530.
** Affects: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
