[Bug 363774] Re: Screen buffer artifacts in Blender with GMA500 Poulsbo video chipset
Hallo, I would like to report that this problem affects me as well.
The main 3D view is full of green, black and brown pixels that look like the interface is now properly redrawn.
In the bottom panel, various buttons are gray. The button's icon appear when the mouse is over it, but disappears when the mouse cursor moves to another one.
When I open and close a menu that covers part of the main 3D view, artifacts appear as soon after the menu is closed. Those artifacts disappear in a moment but are perfectly visible.
The whole application is just plain slow. I don't refer to rendering, which works fine, but to the interactive 3D display. On the same PC where Ubuntu 9.10 runs now the MS Windows port of Blender, under XP SP3, was much better.
I attach some screenshots and lspci -vvnn run as root.
