Message #43374
[Bug 495553] Re: [K8M800] Screen origin shifted to center, screen wraps, ttyN screens don't work, on Averatec 3280 running Lucid with openchrome driver
Here's the Xorg.0.log file.
In this case, I booted in recovery mode, and as the screen darkened, I
was able to type commands to log in as root and start Xorg and other
daemons even though I couldn't see what I was typing.
Part of xorg.conf:
Section "Device"
Driver "openchrome"
VendorName "VIA Tech"
BoardName "openchrome"
Identifier "Configured Video Device"
Option "SWCursor" "true"
Option "modeSwitch" "new"
Option "PanelSize" "1024x768"
#Option "PanelID" "0" #640x480, Single, Dithering
# Option "EnableAGPDMA" "Off"
# Option "NoAccel" "true"
EndSection
** Attachment added: "Xorg.0.log"
