[Bug 495553] Re: [K8M800] Screen origin shifted to center, screen wraps, ttyN screens don't work, on Averatec 3280 running Lucid with openchrome driver
This is still happening as of the latest updates this morning.
The screen x-origin is still offset, and the screen image wraps around, as before.
Selecting a text console with ctl-alt-F1 etc. results in a blank screen.
When the system is booting (after a selection is made in grub), the screen gradually gets obscured by a greyish, cloudy image; a graphics boot usually fails, and selecting recovery mode is difficult but possible due the screen being obscured - I have to type the mode selection, root password, and command to start daemons blindly.
I have attached apt-show-versions output, to show the current package
versions on the system.
** Attachment added: "tar archive of apt-show-versions output"
