[Bug 454388] Re: intel card connected to a monitor acer AL1916 stuck at low resolution due a DDC issue

  Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
  
  After upgrade Ubuntu 9.04 to Karmic with "sudo do-release-upgrade -d" at
  restart i cannot get better resolution then 800x600... to get better
  resolution i must switch off the screen and the pc and then i must turn
  on first the monitor and then the pc.
  
  Please ask me for more details... i'm glad to help.
  
  My monitor edid details when it have 800x600 resolution (please read
  bottom i put the result of the same command when i get better
