[Bug 480181] Re: [i945] Using Intel 945GME, only 1 of 2 displays is detected & configurable, dual-head not possible

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

I am using a Devon IT TC5 thin client, with dual DVI output.

  xrandr reports:
VGA1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
  DVI1 connected 1280x1024+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 376mm x 301mm
     1280x1024 60.0*+ 75.0
     1152x864 75.0
     1024x768 75.1 70.1 60.0
     832x624 74.6
     800x600 72.2 75.0 60.3
     640x480 72.8 75.0 66.7 60.0
     720x400 70.1
     640x350 70.1
TV1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)

I assume VGA1 is the "other" display, however no matter what I connect
to it it's not detected. I've switched cables, monitors, etc so I know
it's not a hardware problem. "Detect Displays" in System > Prefs >
Display always detects only one display.
