[Bug 483062] Re: brightness control previously work after xrandr invocation now does not

Binary package hint: x11-xserver-utils
on Jaunty, brightness control doesn't work on default, but then works ok after executing
xrandr --output LVDS --set BACKLIGHT_CONTROL native
on Karmic, that command returns error:
$ xrandr --output LVDS --set BACKLIGHT_CONTROL native
X Error of failed request: BadRROutput (invalid Output parameter)

Minor opcode of failed request: 15 (RRGetOutputProperty)
