[Bug 496767] Re: Monitor initially recognized in Ubuntu 9.10, but then reverts to "Unknown Monitor" with 800x600 resolution.
** Description changed:
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
I have the Intel 82865G Integrated Graphics Controller...when I first
install Ubuntu 9.10 and its updates, my 16" DELL monitor is recognized
and offers 1028x768 resolution @ 75 Hz, but several days later, reverts
back to an Unknown state at 800x600_60...I'm a n00b, so please keep that
in mind.
