[Bug 521018] [NEW] lucid: horizontally divided screen on/after installation
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
I tried installing several version of the Kubuntu Lucid daily build but
I always get a horizontally divided screen on my notebook, so it's not
usable. Never had this problem with Karmic and versions before.
My notebook specs:
CPU Info Intel Celeron M 512 KB cache flags( sse2 ) clocked at [ 1300.193 MHz ]
Videocard Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] 661/741/760 PCI/AGP or 662/761Gx PCIE VGA Display Adapter X.Org 1.6.4 [ 1280x800@60.0hz ]
Network cards Intersil ISL3886 [Prism Javelin/Prism Xbow]
Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] SiS900 PCI Fast Ethernet, at port: d800
Memory 235.6/465.7MB | HDD FUJITSU MHV2080A Size 80GB (25%used)
