On Lucid both using ppa or the archive package randomly I get this

1) During normal usage of Internet nothing special just gmail, google etc
2) A screen suddenly turns black there is a white "_" in top left corner (kms / tty-like) and there is gtk cursor as well frozen on the screen.

Mouse & Keyboard are not responsive the only way out is to do hard
restart/shut down.

There are no apperant recorded crashes or logs after the restart.

This doesn't happen with other apps after a few days testing and using
different apps it is triggered by chromium on my system.
