[Bug 398283] Re: [NV34M] Xorg crashed with SIGSEGV in memset() using nouveau driver on powerpc
I can understand that. However, on Karmic the nouveau drivers were
installable and working; I used them in place of the -nv ones for months
and they did not crash. Moreover, I noticed a net improvement of the
quality of the on-screen 2D rendering or, alas, gradients for example
did not have that ugly alone that the -nv drivers produce.
So I can understand the wontfix, however keep in mind that there has
been a stable period in karmic in which the powerpc nouveau drivers
worked and worked very well.
