It looks like you've got the nvidia binary drivers installed, but the
1008HA has an Intel graphics card.  Installing the nvidia drivers breaks
the 3D support of the Intel driver, which is the problem that you are
seeing.

Why did you install the nvidia binary graphics drivers?  Were they
automatically installed for some reason?
