[Bug 531054] Re: [Lucid Video]Nvidia-current hardware drivers do not install Nvidia GUI config tool in menus
I can confirm this issue.
After installation of proprietary drivers, nvidia-settings icon is rightly listed under System -> Administration menu. But after first restart (in order to activate drivers), and on every subsequent boot, the icon is missing.
I think it's not related to bug #522943, neither to the nvidia startup
entry under System -> Preferences -> Startup Applications.
Probably a sort of regression from bug #522969 ?
