I'm not saying the bug can be closed, but i can confirm that many users
won't need fgrlx in Ubuntu 9.10.

I've also tried the the beta3 in a live cd and it works perfectly: no
slow unminimizing, no slow video playback in a window or fullscreen, all
compiz effects work smooth, etc.
