[Bug 441102] Re: Xorg fails to start when xserver-xorg-input-wacom is installed
I am currently running Lucid. It still prevents Xorg from starting. This
is due to the wacom driver not supporting my installed
touchscreen/digitizer, an N-trig device.
See line #747 of the Xorg log attached in post #1.
"1b96 is not supported by linuxwacom."
This error prevents Xorg from even starting. IMO, it should simply ignore the device if it does not support it, instead of preventing Xorg startup.
