Message #50592
[Bug 532891] Re: Lucid 2.6.32-16 ppa:apw/red firefox crash to login
This bug is not over. I too have the problem. I run 64 bit lucid. In
lucid alpha 1, everything was fine. When alpha 3 came out, I did a full
update. Now firefox always crashes to login when I do my first
significant operation (usually it's a google search) after a fresh boot
up. I have to log back to do my work. It is not limited to firefox. I
have similar affect in rhythmbox and f-spot. I can't remember, but other
packages have crashed in the same way. Whatever sw I use first crashes
to login when I do my first significant operation. Please reinstate the
bug.
