[Bug 354520] [NEW] X crashes when switching back with kvm switch

 

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

I use an USB KVM switch to switch between several machines. Very often,
when I switch back to my Ubuntu machine, the X server crashes.

I will attach the file /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old where you also find the following backtrace:

Because of this bug I lost data several times.
