IMHO this is a "file not found" (i.e. the home directory) issue and therefore
should be reproducable on any system by just installing the default setup of
(X|U|Ku)buntu with the netinstaller and enabling home directory encryption
(because it should not be hardware dependent if its file not found). If you
absolutely cannot reproduce the issue I will provide the demanded logs.
However that would require me to wipe my working xubuntu setup so I'd be glad
if someone tried to reproduce it first.
