Hello,

I tried to activate xinerama while compiz is active again with alpha 3
of Ubuntu 10.4.

When I deactivate clone mode in gnome-display-properities the screen
become black. However, the pointer of the mice is visible and I can move
the pointer on both screen (so xinerama seems to work). On the left side
there is also a small vertical line (maybe one pixel in width) and it
seems that there are windows hiding. When I try to move them with
Alt+Mouse, the colors of the line changes; it seems that all windows are
working. After a few time, gnome-display-properities resets to clone
mode.

The xorg log is attached.
