[Bug 503548] [NEW] 'Switch user' option performs 'Lock screen' action
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
Binary package hint: indicator-applet-session
When selecting 'Switch user' the current session is locked and the unlock dialog is displayed, Clicking switch user on the dialog re-displays the unlock dialog. At no point is gdm displayed to allow a different user to log in. I've have problems in the past with this nVidia hardware switching modes and don't know if this may be related for info its legacy hardware mx440 using
xserver-xorg-video-nv 1:2.1.15-1ubuntu2
There are 3 other users on the system 2 with UIDs 1000+ and 1 with uid
