Irihapeti, one more thing... Do you have the possibility to test with
standard Lucid (i.e no xorg-edgers or mainline kernel) if you still get
freezes with "nomodeset". From Karmic, the experience is that it doesn't
help, but it would be nice to know if this has changed in Lucid so we
know if it may be used as a workaround.
