Thank you for that.  I've forwarded this bug upstream.  Could you please
subscribe to https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=27076 as the
Novueau developers may wish to get additional information from you.

As for Ubuntu, could you please try copying the attached xorg.conf file
to /etc/X11/xorg.conf - this will disable acceleration, which should
work around the bugs you're seeing.
