[Bug 532047] Re: Plymouth text-mode splash causes X to crash on first run due to shared tty7
This problem still exists for me with current versions of lucid:
ii mountall 2.8 filesystem mounting tool
ii plymouth 0.8.0~-14 graphical boot animation and logger - main package
ii plymouth-x11 0.8.0~-14 graphical boot animation and logger - X11 interface
I use
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=""
(so no splash and no quiet). Could this be relevant?
