So I added diverse log files. There are traces in the dmesg file that
might be useful.

I regard this as a serious problem, because the only way to get out is
to reset the notebook.

One more thing: The keyboard lights of my notebook show no reaction at
all when I use the Caps lock key. Num lock works.
