Sorry, glxgears is not a benchmark.  Performance bugs reported using it
are not accepted.

Also be aware that there are known upstream performance issues with -ati
currently.  The work around is if you need the added performance to turn
off KMS (we're continuing to provide UMS as an option in Lucid for cases
such as this).
