I've forwarded this bug upstream to
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=27151 and subscribed you to
it.

I'm pretty sure this bug is considered unsolvable upstream, since
they're preferring to move to EXA, but I'm interested in hearing what
they say about it.  If this hardware can't be fixed with KMS then this
seems like the next best configuration.
