No Problem i twice checked both:

Motherboard is a XFX nFORCE 630I GEFORCE 7150 SOCKET 775 / Modellcode: MG-63MI-7159
http://www.xfxforce.com/en-us/products/motherboards/6series/630.aspx
It has only 1x PCI Express 16x 1.0 port / 1x PCI Express 4x 1.0 Port / 2x PCI-Port 
Specifications say: True x16 PCI Express Support

VGA-Card is Palit GeForce 8600 GTS+ Super 512Mb GDDR3 128-bit

Specifications only says: Bus interface: PCI Express
