Binary package hint: compiz

After latest Lucid update (2010-03-19), compiz fails to start up when I log
in.  My desktop background image is displayed, and the mouse cursor moves,
but no window manager appears.  Worked fine before latest Lucid update, and
in Karmic.

System is an IBM Thinkpad T20 (Type 2647) Pentium III laptop.

.xsession-errors contains:
