As promised, I tested older ISO images I still had on hand. Clean
install of 20100224 which is the Alpha 3 release, reboot, install the
Guest Additions and reboot... the VirtualBox driver properly loads.

So somewhere between 20100224 A3 and 20100316 this broke.

Next I will try with the Beta 1 ISO.
