[Bug 541868] Re: Synaptic touchpad has soft lockups in lucid
Ok this is apparently more of a kcm touchpad issue,since when i removed
kcm touchpad the touchpad works like a charm
** Package changed: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics (Ubuntu) => kcm-
touchpad (Ubuntu)
** Tags added: apport-collected
** Description changed:
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics
In lucid's latest builds the synaptic touchpad seems to be having alot
of soft lockups,ive been forced to use a external mouse due to this
issue and its very annoying,the touchpad locks up randomly and locks up
for 3-4 mins after shutting the laptop lid,this was a known issue in
jaunty and was corrected in karmic and seems to have reappeared in lucid
