Message #55956
[Bug 540624] Re: Total display shutdown on Thinkpad T500
** Description changed:
Binary package hint: xorg
Hello,
I discovered a quiet annoying error in Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic on my Lenovo
Thinkpad T500 notebook.
From time to time (but serveral times a week) when I close and reopen
the lid sometime later the display is not reactivated. It is totally
dark, so maybe not a screensaver problem. I closed and reopened the lid
several time in case of a problem with electonic contacts or so but the
display remains black.
Best regards!
