Actually there seems to be some confusion in that

synaptics/+bug/308191 bug - From the description up to comment #32 the
bug is only about the touchpad only detecting one finger (no mention
about pointer jumping anywhere) then comment #33 suddenly brings up the
problem described in this bug (number 503944) with videos and
everything...
