Bryce, yes, kms is enabled.

I sudo aptitude -q update & safe-upgrade every day in case there's an
improvement maybe whatever bugs at the moment will go away (or get
worse...).

The crash is pretty erratic, occurring a couple times in a row yesterday
then not for the next couple hours.  Not the best for checking bugs.

Do note this is Firefox 3.6 and I have seen that there's a 3.62 out, but
I tend to run only what's in Synaptic unless requested otherwise.
