O.K., will do.  It was set to activate screensaver after 5 minutes, and
put display to sleep after 30 minutes.  I think these are defaults.  I
had previously turned off locking display already since the computers
are in a private home and I'm the only user.  The screensaver was blank
screen to save lcd and backlight life.
