Message #57776
[Bug 550486] Re: Monitor preferences doesn't identify HDMI monitor correctly.
I am experiencing a similar issue that may be related, my LG246WP
identifies as a Goldstar Ltd. 24" screen. This occurs when connected via
DVI->VGA and DVI->HDMI. When connected via DVI->VGA, all expected
resolutions display properly. When connected via DVI->HDMI, the screen
is cropped and off-center (see attachments for a screenshot and a screen
picture).
Architecture: amd64
Date: Mon Mar 29
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04
InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 "Lucid Lynx" - daily build 2010-03-09, via USB
If you believe this is a separate bug, please let me know so that I can
create a new bug report.
