Hi ZeroBeat, sorry to hear the troubles you've run through, and thanks
for reporting them to make Ubuntu better.

What would be most helpful though is if you could narrow your bug report
to a specific problem that we can address in the distro.  Since you've
made significant changes to your system between each comment, which
makes it difficult to spot what change needs done to the distro to make
it better.  This means that the files you originally posted really
aren't consistent with how you've got things configured now.  If you've
installed -nvidia, that also makes the configuration not relevant to
improving -nouveau.

If your objective has been more about getting your system up and
running, rather than working on improving -nouveau support, I would
direct you to the UbuntuForums or to
http://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/ which are more appropriate for tech
support queries.
