[Bug 544628] Re: Xorg assert failure: /usr/bin/X: munmap_chunk(): invalid pointer: 0x00ef03ff

** Summary changed:

- Xorg assert failure: *** glibc detected *** /usr/bin/X: munmap_chunk(): invalid pointer: 0x00ef03ff ***
+ Xorg assert failure: /usr/bin/X: munmap_chunk(): invalid pointer: 0x00ef03ff

** Description changed:

  tried installing nvidia current-version the way cannon instructed, by console.
  system kept freezing during boot up, after the password was entered for unlocking the encrypted lvm were the system was installed on.

  so for now i'm using low graphics mode until this gets resolved.
