@Alessandro: Your problem is different, as you have totally different
hardware, don't have KMS, and don't see a bootsplash.  Please file a new
bug.

@f3a97: The logs that we most need are dmesg and /var/log/Xorg.0.log (if
it gets that far).  You might be able to get to X by hitting Alt+SysRq+K
to kill the bootsplash, in which case you can use “apport-collect
554071”
