Message #59063
[Bug 555515] [NEW] AIII, invalid/inactive channel nouveau id 32
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
There is NO OTHER way to report this bug in Lucid Lynx.
Using the Live image (2010, April 5th).
I was lucky enough to see Lucid Lynx desktop AND move/click my mouse.
When I clicked "Try ubuntu" the system froze and after a couple of
minutes I saw the console with massive errors being reported:
[327.9XXXXX] [drm] nouveau 0000:01:00.0: AIII, invalid/inactive channel
nouveau id 32.
This is the first Ubuntu system that I am completely unable to launch and therefore it's almost impossible to report bugs...
There should be an option to select which driver to run (VESA, NV and maybe at the end of the list Nouveau)
