About minor glitches: you could try to follow the "oldies but goldies" release notes from the 9.10: http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/releasenotes/910, at the bottoom of the page, where they talk about X server. I've tried and it works. Here below mine's: it's minimal but it does the job. ;)

Anyway, talking about small faults, I can see a thin white line on the
bottom of my monitor. Just a couple of pixels, but it does not happens
with ubuntu 9.10.
