[Bug 558657] Re: mouse usage causes Xorg CPU usage to spike, and mouse pointer becomes less responsive

 

>From the glxinfo it seems you don't have hw acceleration, which can
cause performance problems and cpu loads (since rendering is done in
sw).  Make sure desktop effects is not enabled (it shouldn't even be
possible to enable them).  Also, check if you are running any 3D
programs or anything which uses compositing.
