[Bug 542660] Re: New Apple iMac (Core i5) fails to boot
Bug still appears in Beta2, on my iMac11,1 i7 -
I had to do a f6, esc, (selecting nomodeset doesn't appear to change
the line) then manually added the following in the boot line:
i915.modeset=0 radeon.modeset=0
I then get the purple ubuntu screen with the 5 red dots and then thats
all. Pressing the power button, wait for the CD to pop out, then
press the enter key on the wireless seems to cleanly shutdown.
