[Bug 553160] Re: Nouveau driver gives illegible screen on Nvidia 7150M (laptop)
Tried again with beta 2 - initially I had the same problem.
However, after selecting "acpi=off", "noapci", "nolapic" and "nomodeset" everything looked fine.
Didn't try this with the first beta though, so I don't know if this would have solved the problem then.
After reboot the screen goes al weird again - text mode screen is really weird as well.
Adding the mentioned parameters in the GRUB screen fixes the problem long enough to install the regular nvidia drivers (which permenantly fixes the issue).
