[Bug 559958] [NEW] Sometimes, when logging out or changing users, the screen goes black.

Sometimes, when logging out or changing users, the screen goes black and
nothing comes up.

Ctrl-Alt-F1 does not bring up the terminal, the screen stays black.
Have to restart to fix issue.
