Still broken with yesterday's nvidia-96 update.

It definitely appears to be triggered either by the appearance of the
password field or the appearance of the options on the lower panel.

Additionally, please record another vote in favour of marking this bug
as critical: it could make the system practically unusable for a large
proportion of users out of the box.
