Message #61660
[Bug 551108] [NEW] can't find framebuffer in initramfs (cryptsetup) with nouveau driver
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
Binary package hint: plymouth
Since a while (maybe a week?) I do not get the graphical plymouth splash anymore:
when being asked for the cryptsetup passphrase I'm getting the text input which puts a new line with every key being entered (different from the "typical"/normal text plugin?!).
However, nouveau gets used correctly by X then, also when switching to e.g. VT1.
Additionally, the shutdown process apparently uses plymouth' graphics mode, too.
