Ok.  So, X has crashed somewhere in the nouveau DDX driver.  To get a
better idea of what's going on it would be really useful if you could
get a proper backtrace - the instructions to do that are here:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Backtracing

Note that you'd want to install (at least) the xserver-xorg-video-
nouveau-dbgsym package to get proper debug symbols.
