I can't access the machine now and won't be able to try for a couple of
days. The pushed flgrx ati driver REALLY doesn't work. After I rebooted
last night, all the screen showed was multicolored vertical lines. So
I'm working on another machine to meet some deadlines. Since I'm not
terribly proficient in Linux, I presume I'll have to select an earlier
version of the kernel (presumably karmic) to reboot when I try to fix
that one.
